Why visit the Seongsu store?

CJ Olive Young introduced N Seongsu as its first innovation store. Its design brings together more than product displays: exhibitions, a café and a goods shop on the first floor, plus beauty-consultation spaces upstairs. At opening, the company described The Corner Goods Shop as a place for Seongsu-exclusive merchandise. Check the current selection in store.

If you want to explore K-beauty spaces as well as shop, these features give you a reason to visit Seongsu. If you mainly want to buy a few items rather than explore the flagship, another option is Olive Young Seongsu Station (올리브영 성수역점), at 91 Achasan-ro, about 50 meters from Seongsu Station Exit 1.

What to see on floors 1–3

When the store opened in November 2024, CJ Olive Young described it as a five-floor store covering about 4,628 m², with retail space on floors 1 to 3. Here is what each shopping floor focuses on, based on the official store introduction.

FloorOfficial nameWhat you’ll find
1FN.PLAYGROUNDCafé staNd, a goods shop, and pop-ups that change over time
2FBEAUTY & CULTUREMakeup, fragrance, Luxe Edit, and men’s beauty
3FSKIN & WELLNESSSkincare, hair and body care, wellness, and a Food Market section

The first floor is good for a short visit. You can check the goods shop and see which pop-up is running that day. Pop-ups change, so the one you see may be different from photos online.

The second floor focuses on makeup and fragrance. In my photos, you can see makeup testers displayed by brand.

The third floor is for skincare and everyday care products. The “Food Market” here is a product section, not a restaurant.

The pink Color Fitting Room on the second floor

One distinctive space I photographed is the pink Color Fitting Room on the second floor. The store’s official page also lists Find Your Color, a 30-minute personal-color service with on-site registration.

A café stop on the first floor

Café staNd is the café on the first floor. According to the official store introduction, it serves drinks and also has special menus made with different brands, which change over time.

You can check the current menu, prices and seating arrangements at the café.

Makeup and beauty services: what needs a reservation?

The official Reservations page lists several programs, including the examples below.

Advance-reservation services are booked ahead through the official Reservations page. On-site sign-up services are registered in the store, on the second and third floors. Before you book or sign up, ask about the price, available languages and any phone-number or membership requirements.

The skin and scalp check is a shopping consultation using a device. It is not a medical exam.

If you ask staff in the store, these simple questions may help:

  • “Where can I sign up for a beauty service?”
  • “Is this service available in English?”
